The present Terms & Conditions(‘T&C’) will establish the terms and conditions by which our services will be provided, by requesting a service you will be agreeing with them, on special occasion there might be specifics T&C to be agreed for a particular job.
Specific T&C will prevail over the general T&C for the particular job, and the particular job only.
GENERAL T&C
- Premium Chauffeurs requests a minimum of 24 hours notice for online bookings, for bookings in less than 24 hours please call our staff through +351 934 569 464.
- Prices are given from A to B. In case of diverting the trip, an extra stop or any other extra situation at the client’s request, he shall be charged accordingly to the vehicle on hire hourly rate, in 15 minutes increments.
- The passenger(s) and luggage are to be ready for pickup at the requested time by the client, a 10min grace period is given for waiting and/or loading, shall this time pass, the client is to be charged accordingly to the vehicle on hire hourly rate, in 15 minutes increments.
- For collections from airports, seaports and international train stations a 45 minutes grace period will be given, starting from the actual arrival time.
- In any event and in case we can’t contact or the client did not contact us, we reserve the right to terminate the contract after the grace period is over and a full fare should be applied.
- The Carrier will not be liable for any loss incurred by a passenger who fails to join the vehicle at the agreed time.
- Whilst we keep a strict code about punctuality, we cannot be held responsible for exterior circumstances.
- The driver will drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits. Unless otherwise instructed by the passenger before the commencement of the service, routes travelled will be at the driver’s discretion, travelling by the most appropriate route at the time of booking.
- No animals may be carried without the prior written agreement of the Carrier – just disclose them on your booking request.
- Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle to working order.
- We will carry 1 hand luggage per client, 56 x 45 x 25 cm inc. handles/wheels, any extra (ex. large suitcases, golf clubs, surf boards, bicycles) must be disclosed on booking. We cannot be responsible to carry any extra luggage not declared.
- Customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk, Premium Chauffeurs shall not be liable for any damage to or loss of any property, while on the car or left on the vehicle by a passenger. Passengers are advised to check their own travel insurance.
- In case an item is forgotten in our vehicle we will do our best to get it back to the client, a retrieval charge might be applied to cover shipping and handling costs.
- We may provide subcontracted vehicles, always keeping the Premium Chauffeurs Standard.
- We contract for ourself and on behalf of its agents and subcontractors.
- The carriage of any consignment by rail, sea, inland waterway or air is arranged by the Carrier as agent of the Customer and shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant sub-contracted carrier.
- We reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.
- Please be aware vehicle colour and specifications may vary.
- We and our chauffeurs are responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passenger whose conduct the chauffeur reasonably believes to be threatening, drunken and disorderly, abusive, dangerous or in breach of any statutory regulation may be removed from a vehicle or prevented from boarding. The Customer will be responsible for the conduct of any passenger.
- We keep a strict non-smoking policy in all vehicle according to the new tobacco law – law n.º 109/2015, 26 of August.
- Consumption of water is allowed. Food and other drinks are left at the chauffeur discretion.
- Baby/child safety car seats are to be fitted by parents; drivers are not responsible for fitting equipment.
- Baby/child safety car seats can be supplied by Premium Chauffeurs, wherefore at the time of booking, number, age and weight shall be disclosed in case we are to supply the seats.
- The chauffeur will refuse to carry babies and or children without appropriate seat.
- Prices are all inclusive (VAT, airport taxes, tolls, parks, etc…), unless taxes to be paid in upon arrival locally, we will let you know beforehand if there are any.
- Premium Chauffeurs vehicle(s) and subcontracted vehicles are fully licensed with the local authorities and carry appropriate levels of public liability insurance for the protection of clients.
- In case of a dispute between the client and Premium Chauffeurs, the client can check his rights and fill a claim in any of the following customer support centres:

- Nothing contained in these T&C can affect the client’s rights under the Portuguese law.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- Bookings can be canceled until 24 hours before the ride for a full refund.
- Bookings can be canceled until 12 hours before for a 50% refund, cancellation less than 12h gets no refund, please bear in mind that sending a cancellation between 10PM and 6AM will result in it being counted as 6AM.
- If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, a no-show will be invoked and there won’t be a refund.
- For special events please consult your account manager or check the specific terms and conditions for the event.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
- All Prices shown are to be paid through paypal or bank transfer on the time of booking.
- If cash to the driver is selected there will be a 3% surcharge applied if paid by card, please let us know so we make sure there will be a working TPA on the car.
- If your transfer is with return, please pay the total amount on arrival at your destination.
